My resume can
only say so much
My communications and public relations career is
neither linear nor conventional. I am extremely proud of that.
Every position, no matter the industry, always revolved
on the axis of writing, research, and media outreach.
I have a range of experience in: social impact, international development, cannabis, fashion, and lifestyle PR, and non-profit communications.
Time and time again, I learn the most valuable lessons as I go. A new topic for me sends me to the library, niche search engines, and experts. I turn any moment into an opportunity for education.
I did a deep dive into formal education when I earned my Master’s in Communications at University of Southern California Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism in Los Angeles. Between 2017 and 2019, I sharpened my critical thinking, made reading data analysis my friend, and found a passion in brand strategy.
Ultimately, I love connecting dots and concepts that seemingly have no relationship. For that you need a unique perspective, different-than-preferred experiences, and a specific type of confidence.
I am grateful that these characteristics are part of who I am.
