One of the many upsides of having a wide variety of professional experiences is learning about industries I otherwise would not appreciate. The basics, the nuance, and everything in between— my favorite aspect of research is its educational value. The diversity challenges my adroitness and push me to think more critically and creatively.
Below are my top three. For more information, please see my resume.
Lace Audio
Research and Community Outreach
Who:
Lace is a new audio-based social network that recently exited its Alpha testing phase.
Why:
Learned about the software engineering sector of tech. Helped founders find spaces where their technology can profoundly help people receive health care, safely create content, and overall collaboration.
The founders had a vague idea of who their first target audience would be and I am grateful to be part of that process…? Help others (social impact) grow minority content creators that were being marginalized on other platforms such as TikTok.
